       | October Overflow IX Shadows are lengthening. Leaves are slowly but surely turning red and gold. Haunted attractions are popping up on roadsides everywhere. But most importantly, it’s time to gorge on dozens of horror movies for an entire month, and we here at OTH are ready to unleash a true October Overflow this year. Our customary 31 posts will cover over 75 films in the form of reviews, lists, and other surprises to help program for this month—and beyond! Kicking off the festivities this year is a look at the Blu-ray release of The Shallows, one of the year’s best surprises so far. As always, our October reviews will be displayed in a festive orange on the front page.
